Hi,
Happy Holidays!
2020 has been a reset for many!
It has slowed life down and has for many allowed us to prioritize the things most important to us as a result of this pandemic. - and - honestly, the vaccinations for this virus cannot happen fast enough!
Stop much illness and loss of life as, well as longterm health effects for many who have contracted and survived it. While still others are are asymptomatic and may have no ill effects. It’s just so hard to understand! But, I digressed!.
We usually buy used campers/RVs because new ones are just too pricy.
It sounds like the person who bought yours will be off to a great start!
Hopefully he will enjoy it as much as you!
Best wishes!

I sold Phaeton Place yesterday. It has been my mission since I arrived back in Florida to get her emptied and cleaned inside and out and sold. She is too much coach for me and while I had no problems handling the driving, etc., we all know that is only a small part of RVing. Towing was too problematic with my arthritic hands and I don't want to tow anymore. I had one person who strung me along with buying it. He wanted it delivered 2 hours away. . . just a lot of stupid delays. They did come look at it and paid to have it inspected, but I finally told them to get lost. Another man had contacted me. He drove down from Alabama over the weekend and yesterday morning did a walk through and had the $$ wire to my account. That went very smoothly and in the afternoon, I helped him get the coach and his toad over to a local campground 4 miles away so he could regroup. He brought his own towbar because mine didn't match up to his baseplate. He came totally prepared to get everything ready. Such a difference. He is very happy with the coach and has a friend who is a CAT mechanic who will do the maintenance on the engine. It seemed like a match made in heaven. I am keeping MinnieMee for now, but my intention is to sell or trade her for something like a Leisure Travel Van. I won't be towing, still RVing, and will be able to drive to Indiana to visit Mom in comfort whenever this Covid stuff is gone.
I cried when I drove her the last time, but I told my son, that was better than crying because she didn't sell. LOL She drives like a dream and I'm sure the buyer will enjoy her for several years. I threw in a lot of freebies: water softener, 30' 50A extension cord, Patriot Brake, water filters, macerator, macerator hose, spare tire, hoses, etc. But he gave me $5000 more than the other guy offered and I have no use for those items. Don't need the money I might get from them at a yard sale, so I just kept throwing things in. I have no regrets. From when I got back to Florida, I got her cleaned out and sold in six weeks. I couldn't be happier. . . unless I still had my copilot!
Blessings to all. Stay healthy and covid free!

Our granddaughter got her COVID vaccination last weekend - no reactions at all. She is a health care worker (laboratory tech) at Christ Advocate hospital in the Chicago area. Reassuring news.

I'm looking forward to getting a COVID vaccination. It's surprising how many adults say they will not get one.
They're concerned about it making them sick, giving them COVID, it's only saline and my favorite, it contains a tracking device.
They think the government is going to sit and moniter the location of millions and millions of people.
They're the same ones who think it's all a big hoax.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.
Stay safe
We woke up to a White Christmas. About 4 inches of snow or a little more. Temperature will be in low 20’s if we are lucky but the wind chill will be in the single digits.
Hope everyone enjoys there day.

Merry Christmas to all of you! It's sunny and 41° here in Melbourne, Florida, going for a high a 53°. Definitely what I would call winter here in Florida!
Best wishes to everyone!

Merry Christmas! Cold front came through last night and we are only supposed to have a high of 58 degrees here in West Central Florida today. Even colder tomorrow. Too cold for my Florida blood! There are freeze warnings tonight in the area. Hoping all the local famers make out OK.
