Happy New Year everyone. IT's sad in our home right now. our son William is mentally sick. He is bi polar and really having a time of it right now. We have tried every thing we know to do to help him, but it becoming increasingly clear he needs more than we can provide for him. We see bouts of improvement then we see him slide backwards to beyond the place he was. He is determined to leave and go on his own. He just came to us from Portland Maine where he was basically living on the streets. Now he wants to go back. HE just tried that four days ago and had to come back to us. So nothing has changed, nothing is better, there is no need for him to go back, he won't be able to stay there. IT cost money to send him back and forth and we don't have It to waste like that. Don't know what to do for him. Last Sunday he joined te church and made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and now he wants to turn hi s back on that and just leave. HE really doesn't have a good reason to leave, he just feels he needs to be alone and feels he just cannot live with other people. He is hearing voices telling him to leave and he believes it is God speaking to him. BOY this is getting weird. Okay I am going to bed now. Have a blessed evening. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. Pray for us in that we do the right thing for William.

Happy New Year everyone. Every one stay healthy and safe. Dan, I also share your thoughts.
Because of Charlotte's MS, we are on the list to get the vaccine soon. Hope it happens.

Here in Ohio they have us listed in 1b group. So hopefully we will be getting vaccine soon as well. But if they keep moving at the pace they are it will be next Christmas. Thought they would have 20 million vaccinated by end of December and they only have 2 million.

Stay safe

I'm sorry to hear about your son Richard. I have a friend that is bi polar and it is like she has two personalities. One day she would be a very sweet person and the next day she was angry and spiteful. You never knew which person you were going to get. I hope he can get some help.

went to the doctor today and learned that I may never be able to drive again. My Parkinson is advanced so that it has impaired my ability to do any multi tasking required to drive. So come to see Sue and I and I will put you up on put RV site in the back yard. I have full hook up Water Sewer and a 30 amp service that can be converted to a 50 amp with the special cord I have. Come and stay as long as you like. I am going to sign off now wishing everyone a blessed day. BE sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Sounds like the decision was made for you. Sorry to hear about the issues with your son. Try to stay positive and safe. A lot of friends have lost elders to covid recently.

Happy New Year,

I’m so sorry to hear about the health issues you and your son are dealing with!
But your not really missing much on the traveling front, seeing as it’s still a raging pandemic out there and safer to stay put most likely..
We retired in September and had been planning to travel upon retirement, but just our luck, we timed it to the year of COVID-19! So sadly here we are in the cold and snow of the northeast still!
Both my foster son and my nephew suffer from emotional health issues and I have wondered many times if my foster son was actually bipolar, as his moods can switch on a dime and he can get into depressive cycles, and while not typical manic cycles, he gets ‘carefree’ when he’s feeling “up”. He also has anxiety and trauma which is not unusual for foster care ‘alumni’. So long story short, I can empathize and am so sorry to hear you are having to deal with your sons EH issue in addition to your own news about having to retire from RVing due to Parkinson’s.
Sending positive thoughts and energy and prayers to you and yours and hoping things get better soon and that you all are able to enjoy the slower pace of life with each other during this slow winter season. Hugs to you and your wife and your son. Be safe!

Okay FOOFs where is everyone, it's been a week since anyone has posted. I'm praying that Richard is okay. Anyone heard from him? I haven't seen him on face book for a while either.

Richard says he has a hard time seeing the keys to type.

Hope everyone is doing well and 2021 is treating you better.

We have filled out registration forms to get our Vaccine. Don’t know exactly when it will happen though.
