I wouldn't post stories like this, it will discourage folks from rving.

Good for you, savior those trips. I'd say over the years ,about 90% of mine are uneventful . Just last month a had the nasty blowout, but this weekend coming back off an 800mile trip back,a car in front of me for some reason swerved to the left ,and flipped into the concrete divider on it's side, thankfully I don't tailgate ,and had plenty of time to slow my train down. At that point we have been driving for 13hours between my wife an I, but that Mr. Pibb really keeps me on my toes.

Sounds about right. We are in our third summer of traveling around the country and most of the places we have found to be great. We have run into very few places we will not recommend or go back to. Keep on enjoying and thanks for the positive post.

What I like is when something on a trip goes wrong, it doesn't seem to affect my desire to go RVing again.

We once lost an awning to a rogue gust of wind and had to pack up early and go home.

But our next trip was wonderful and that was probably 10 years ago.

We are debating whether to go to the Nugget Rib Cook-Off in Sparks, NV over Labor Day weekend. I would have to take the trailer there first, and my wife will have to fly to join me after work. She surprised me this weekend and was looking at flights.

Our August trip will probably be a week in San Diego.

Tom

If you continue to post stories like this, I'm going to have to blame you for my internet complusity. I'll be logging on to read about your adventures and I'll ignore my "honey-do's" and then you'll be responsible for my marriage falling into disrepair. I hope you're willing to accept the consequesces of your good posting.

Glad you have a good time.

JUST SHOCKING!!!

Stories like this could doom the forums forever if they become widespread…

Surely you had to at least hop-scotch through the site to avoid dog poo, we all know what villains those owners are…

Just the fact it was a KOA is reason enough to condemn the place…

YOUR JUST NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH, THAT HAS TO BE IT…

I can sort of relate about the peacocks.
While staying at a Cg outside of Yosemite, we kept hearing a "knock" on the coach around 7:30 in the morning.
Turned out one of the local woodpeckers was trying to use our UltraGuard as a storage area as I found tiny peck marks at several spots on it.
