During this fine winter we have had the pleasure of experiencing, The huge decal on the front of my Jayco Eagle was essentially destroyed. It peeled and flaked off badly. The unit is not covered so snow and ice were prevelent at any given time. I have no idea whether this is a warranty thing or not (I will ask), but was wondering if anyone else had the same experience.
Also, wondering what a decal of this size might cost; ballpark.

Actually it is quite common across the spectrum of RV's You can try contacting Jayco, they might send you a new one for free or for a nominal cost. When my decals go south i will just hire a painter to do them in real automotive paint and be done with it. Or I might just peal them off and have a nice shiny trailer.

If Jayco wants their advertisement on your trailer they'll send one for the purpose. That's the attitude I take with my Rockwood if the decals ever need replacing.

I've peeled a couple off of mine and I think it looks a lot better. I wouldn't drive my vehicles with large decals touting the manufacturer, so why my MH?

Dunno... but your TV has an emblem/logo that you can't always peel off that states your vehicle's manufacturer, are you saying you'd rather not drive ANY vehicle touting the manufacturer?
FWIW I agree actually if I had no decals on my 5ver it would look better indeed but it would be too white and I would like another color (perhaps blue?)
I thought there might be laws requiring vehicles to have emblems/logos on them?

I don't know about laws, but if I had no decals, I would do something creative to break up the solid white.
Anyway, the dealer has ordered a new decal and will install it when it gets here. No charge.
Thanks.

There are plenty of people that remove ALL emblems/logos/badges from their vehicles. It's called "Debadging" and the primary reason it is done is for the clean look and easier waxing of the vehicle. I have never done it but did remove all dealer license plate frames & logos.

What if anything did you use to clean, wash, or wax your cap? We've had no issues with our sticker and our unit is stored outside and in open sun.

well that's easy enough to do, but what about taking the badge off the front grille?

I have a Jayco Designer and the decal in front and on the side is peeling off also. I tried taking the advertising approach with Jayco but they kept pushing me to a dealer and the decals are 300 plus dollars apiece through them. It surprised me that Jayco wouldn't want their name out there, especially in these economic times.
