RE: KZ StoneRidge

Yes it replaced the Montego Bay the frame is now 10" instead of the 18" frame on the Montego and I believe the roof decking was dropped to 3/8" from 1/2" so the structure has been ligthened up I don't know if I would want to give up my Montego Bay for the extra length and glamour of the stoneridge even though I'm still having a leak issue that cannot be found and KZ really don't want to hear it now that it is out of warranty but the condition existed a few months after ownership so I guess the economy has greatly affected quality control and the good business practices of KZ this is my second fver from them not looking good for a third.Seriously checking out the Landmark by Heartland or a Carriage maybe.

RE: No back-up lights?

Most don't have reverse lights I don't know why it should be a requirement I would think some do but for the most part no.

RE: Slideout Gear Problem

I believe Pond Jumper gave you the right answer you need to stop the slide before fully opened or closed or the gear will strip and you will be cranking it in.

RE: Water pressure 2007 TS River Canyon

It may be a crimped water line somewhere restricting water flow or hopefully the factory didn't put a screw through one of the waterlines and your losing pressure because of a water leak you would usually see the water pressure surge if that was the case but keep an eye out for wet spots anywhere a line is visible just to be on the safe side.Do you have good pressure coming from the water source? Are all of the needed water valves open all the way? Also the length of your hose and a water filter will reduce flow especially if the water fliter cartridge has not been replaced if you do have a filter take it off and see if it gets better. It will be a process of elimination now. Good Luck

RE: squealing water heater

May be air in the water heater or a bad relief valve shut the water heater off let it cool and open the relif valve slowly and let some water flow out close up the relief valve and hook up city water like you normally would then run some water through the faucets and turn the water heater back on when warm see if this occurs again if it does more than likely the relief valve is shot.Shutting the bypass on and off will allow more air in the system.

RE: 32' vs. 35'

It's really not a big difference a couple of tows and you won't even know you moved up the only thing to keep in mind is the campgrounds you stay at make sure they can accomodate the length.

Wildwood state park(Wading River,N.Y.)

Horrible electrical problems exist in this park run everything on gas and if you are lucky you may be able to run your ac.Bad neutral on their circuit breakers and many others in the park, melted our power cord and pigtail together. We sent the claim form in and they told us N.Y. state does not insure their campgrounds and would not cover the cost of the new power cord.I spoke with many people and they have the same issue in this park.Stay away.

RE: Does anyone have anything GOOD to say about Sandpiper?

Not too thrilled about the Forest River products anymore, nor Keystone the quality control is just getting worse.I will stick with my KZ fvers for now at least they do not give you a problem w/ warranty they just fix it no BS no fighting.
